I recovered from the error of my ways yesterday. Today I measured twice, cut once, measured again and cut two more....
I hate it when I waste materials due to stupid errors.... Just wanted to get working again.
I also got to cut the thickest piece of aluminum plate, 12 mm, today.

The 'T' shaped piece in the middle of the picture is welded into the top of the keel assembly to which I will connect the canting keel control lines. Not sure if I will be using 4 or 6 to one blocks to make moving the keel easy for this old man....

I also stacked up the cut plate into piles to take to the machine shop for welding, machining and drilling....
Pile 1:

and Pile 2:

Missing from these two Piles is the 80 mm round keel pin and the 9 mm round leading edge for the keel fin.
I will have to do some grinding on the 9 mm rod to create flat spots on the sides to allow the keel fin to be welded to it before fairing is done.
Off to the machine shop later this week.
Worked for 2.5 hours and no major goof up's.
