 I got to work on the keel side plates today. I set up a jig and use propane outdoor cookers to heat up the aluminum so I could bend the metal over the forms.

This is the port side of the keel. It is 4.5mm marine grade aluminum. It is bolted to the forms and will be released tomorrow and I will start on the starboard side. I used two propane 'cooker's and a propane brush burner to get the heat up to 550 degree's F.
