I set up a jig and use propane outdoor cookers to heat up the aluminum so I could bend the metal over the forms. For some more of the story, click read more...... This is the port side of the keel. It is 4.5mm marine grade aluminum. It is bolted to the forms and will be released tomorrow and I will start o­n the starboard side. I used two propane 'cooker's and a propane brush burner to get the heat up to 550 degree's F. Another picture. More pictures in the Photo Gallery. Got to work for 4 hours today.
